The week before my 1st Birthday we visited my cousins Eileen and Ray.  They had wonderful birthday gifts for me from them and my cousins Melissa and Michael.

We had a lovely afternoon, Ray made a delicious curry for us which I really enjoyed, I am definitely a spicy baby haha.

My first hair cut

It’s been a while and i’ve been a very busy little girl.  Such a lot has been happening, like my first haircut, my first pair of shoes, and my 1st Birthday.

My first haircut was okay, I had seen my mummy’s friend do her hair loads of times and was just relieved she did not put some purple stuff in my hair and then cover in silver stuff, I think my mummy has highlights of something.  But all Kirsty did was cut my fringe before my 1st birthday party.

Daddy’s Day

Well today is my Daddy’s day, well actually a special day for all daddy’s all over the world however, none in my opinion are as special as mine so to me it’s my Daddy’s day.

My treat for my Daddy was for us all to go for a curry buffet and then we went to the train which is round the corner to where we live.  The curry was delicious and I tried some of it.  I had some Naan bread, rice, poppadoms and dips plus my own food that Mummy took with us.  We all had a banquet.  After we ate we went to the rail train.  This was my first trip and hopefully one of many!!!!!  I am hoping to go again on the 4th July,  the week before my birthday, maybe if it’s nice we will take a picnic.  We had such fun as you can see from the pictures.  Mummy was sooooooo excited bless her she enjoyed every bit as much as me. 

I hope Daddy had a lovely, Mummy and me did and can not wait for next Daddy’s day, every day should be Daddy’s Day, as I think mine is the bestest and I love him soooooooooooooooooooo.

Growing up fast

My my, it’s been such a long time since I updated my blog as I’ve been so busy growing!

So lets start wth a new picture of me, you will notice that I’m happy for a start since I’m in one of my most favourite places…. yes the bath!

 

Now I don’t like to boast (and naturally daddy won’t snap any pictures of me when I’m crying) but I actually have 6 teeth and there are more coming, so yes unfortuantely for mummy and daddy I’m back to waking up through the night for a little moan, then I want to get up at 4.30am…. well I bet they won’t put up with that for long!

Now auntie Jo-Ann got me the most wicked toy today, a Waybuloo push along 4 wheel buggy, it’s so cool and I love it so much that I just cried solidly when I was taken away from it, only bathtime made me stop crying, mummy was not amused!

Well no grandma for 3 weeks now as she is off to see auntie Kay in Australia which I’m told is a long way away, but it’s ok as in the last week I’ve gained a grandpa, and he really seems to like seeing me. I think he’s coming with me to see my cousins and auntie Julie & uncle Mark at the weekend which will be just fab.

Anyway I’m sleeping now, so better get on with the dreaming about the new playgroup mummy is taking me to tomorrow.

Making daddy cry

Today mummy took me too the swing park for the very first time and I took my first little swing.

I loved it…. my my I can’t wait for mummy & daddy to take me again, and mummy sent a picture to daddy which apparently made him shed a little tear… Poor daddy having to work, still we have the weekends :)

Mothers day Part 1

Well… What can I say, I didn’t remember that it was mothers day today and that mummy would need a good nights sleep. I mean what’s a baby to do when I’m teething, have a snotty nose and a belly ache but to get mummy up a midnight, then again at 2am.

Still I rewarded her with a bonus sleep while daddy was in the bath! Don’t we look happy :)

Lunch at my cousins

What a day !!!!!!!!  Mummy , Daddy, and Auntie Jo-Ann went to visit my cousins on Mummy’s side.  I had a wonderful time.  We were at Tracey and Terry’s house.  They have two boys Thomas and Joseph.  I was a little shy and cried when I went near them, but I did do my first proper bit of crawling, it was backwards but none the less Mummy, Daddy and Auntie Jo-Ann were very proud, and my cousin Tracey was chuffed cos it was at her house.

I got my first Easter Egg today, I don’t understand what this Easter thing is about but it all seems good as you get presents.  My cousin Maureen gave me it, it’s a beautiful princess egg with a beaker, plate that has a boiled egg holder in it, and a spoon, it’s so lovely and can’t wait to use it, in fact Mummy might let me use it tomorrow.

We had lunch, I had some ham, turkey, bread, cucumber, it was all lovely.

My cousins very nice and very chatty, Mummy and Auntie Jo-Ann did not stop from the time we got there to when we left, they do love a good old natter.  I heard about my other cousins, they are only little too, Conor is 2 and Findlay is 3 months I can not wait to meet them, I hope I do soon, then we can have a good old natter like the mummies do.

HOW COOL IS THIS!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I was a little all over the place, okay, okay I was just the tiniest bit mardy.  Well my Mummy has gone back to work, I have these teeth things coming through. and I want to stand all the time, but Daddy and Mummy insist I can not do that all the time.  I also want to investigate all around me, there are cool things that light up, things that I can hear Auntie Jo-Ann’s and Mummys voices through, they ring you do something on them and then you can hear them, they are so cool, though it would be even cooler if you could see them.  Then there’s the thing Mummy and Daddy use to put “Timmy Time” and “Waybalou” on, in fact there are two of those, and something called paper, that’s great stuff.  Anyway all these things and Mummy and Daddy keep saying this word “No” to be honest it’s getting on my tiny little behind, so that’s when I throw what Mummy say’s is a “Paddy”.

However with all this going on I love being with my Daddy but I keep hearing that he is back at work on Monday :( , but we have the weekend together, and I am visiting my cousins on Saturday and it’s Mummy’s Day on Sunday, not sure what that’s about but hey we are going out on Sunday because of it.

So getting back to yesterday and the picture you see.  I was having my “little Paddy” and Daddy decided to put me in this thing.  Apparently it’s a wash basket, and to be honest I think it’s pretty cool, oh and I think I do look pretty cute :)  could not spit my dummy out in time for you all to see my beaming smile.

Mummy’s day off

Well Mummy was back at work on Monday, twas a sad for all :( .  I was sad :( but I had my Daddy to look after me and I knew I would not be sad for long :) .  We had a great two day’s together, just me and Pa, he let me do things Mummy normally doesn’t, well I don’t see what the big deal is about ripping, sorry I mean playing with her magazines, and looking at the remote controls, and it’s not like I actually want to use her phone.  Anyway as much as I missed Mummy, my Daddy is cool!!!!!!!

Today was mummy’s day off, and we all had a ball.  Mummy got up with me at 5pm that’s when I like to start my day, some may think it’s early ( like Mummy ) but I say why waste time in bed if your awake.  So Daddy got to have a lay in this morning.  We all had breakfast together, this morning I had scrambled egg, with a slice of toast, yummy, my favourite.  I then played for a while, as you can see from my pics.  We then got washed and dressed and I had my nap, had lunch I had marmite sandwich, I love marmite, I take after my Daddy.  Mummy picked up some of my bread and then licked her finger and got a taste of marmite, I thought she was going to be sick, she hates it, it was funny.  After lunch we all headed out to Swanley Market.  Mummy and Daddy bought me two new beautiful outfits, and then we went and did our shopping.

When we got home we played peek-a-boo with Fluffy Dog.  Fluffy Dog was bought for me by my Auntie Alison’s sister Karen.  He’s lovely, nearly as big as me and all soft and fluffy.  Daddy was very tired and kept yawning, but I was not allowed to put the pics on here of him yawning.  After play I had my bath, I love bath time, and then it was cuddles with Mummy, I won’t have them now until Saturday as she is at work again tomorrow and Friday :(

Well tomorrow it’s just Me and my Daddy, the two omigo’s, he will probably take me out for some adventures, and will probably chat to lots of people, he gets stopped a lot by ladies telling him how beautiful I am.  Mummy say’s I am a babe magnet, except Daddy doesn’t get the babes stopping to chat to him, they are normally the babes grandmothers, this makes Mummy really laugh.

Well I’ll sign off for now as they think I am sleeping due to our busy day hahahaha

I really forgot daddy took this picture, so here I am commenting on how the Johnson & Johnson’s ‘no more tears’ formula is a load of rubbish…. Look at me, do I look like my eyes enjoyed the shampoo being washed off… NO, I’m as red as a beetroot, not one of my best looks.
